Gabe Galvez is a seasoned pickleball coach, tournament director, and community leader committed to elevating the sport across Northern Nevada. As the Director of Pickleball for Jam On It Pickleball at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center and former President of the Truckee Meadows Pickleball Club, Gabe has helped serve thousands of players through structured programs, tournaments, and large-scale events.

Before his current leadership roles, Gabe was a top pickleball instructor at both the Reno Tennis Center and the Incline Village Tennis and Pickleball Center, where he developed a reputation for technical precision, an approachable teaching style, and an ability to help players advance their game efficiently and confidently.

A three-time National Qualifier Golden Ticket holder and UTR-P 5.5–rated player, Gabe brings both high-level competitive experience and a deep understanding of player development. Drawing from his background as a Sergeant in the Nevada Army National Guard, his coaching philosophy centers on structure, strategy, and teaching players not what to think, but how to think — empowering athletes to problem-solve, adapt, and compete at their highest potential.
