  • How do I register to play pickleball at Reno Convention Center?

    • You must create an account using “COURT RESERVE” app. Follow the provided instruction on the website.

  • How do I download “Court Reserve” app?

    • Go to your Apple/Android store and enter “Jam On It”.

  • Do I need to reserve a court?

    • Only if you want to guarantee a court. The fee varies upon time requested. (TBD) 

  • How do I reserve a court?

    • Go to “Reservations”, click “Book a Court”. Hit “RESERVE” button for the selected date, time, and court number you are requesting. Then follow payment profile instructions to complete the process.

  • I am having trouble with “Court Reserve” app, what number do I call?

    • Contact us for details at (775) 530-5446. 

  • Do I have to pay in advance?

    • No, but it will save you time during the check-in process.

  • The system charges me double, what do I do?

  • What is drop-in or open play?

    • It is a casual and inclusive way to play where players of different skill levels come together and have a friendly, social experience while enjoying pickleball.

  • What is the surface of pickleball courts at Reno Convention Center?

    • They are indoor courts with an outdoor texture with a smooth and rounded, non-aggressive silica sand. 

  •  What kind of balls is used at Reno Convention Center?

    • Outdoor regulation balls 

  • What sneakers should I use while playing?

    • Tennis shoes that are non-black marking.

  • Should I wear protective eyewear?

    • Yes, for your own safety.

  • Am I allowed to bring food or drink into Reno Convention Center?

    • No, you are not allowed to bring food/drink from outside, except for closed-lid water containers. 

  • Where do I park? 

    • FREE parking is located in Lot E right next to Hall 4.

  • Are there restrooms located near the courts?

    • Yes.

  • Do I need to bring my own paddle and balls?

    • The facility has some paddles available for rent, demo or purchase. ID and credit card is required to check out demo equipment. No fee will be charged upon return of equipment.  Paddles and balls may be available for purchase.

  • Can I stick around to play after my court reserving time?

    • Yes, you are welcome to stay and rotate in with other players following the paddle system.

  • What happens if players are hogging a court?

    • All “drop-in” players are required to rotate if there are paddles in the rotation cycle.

  • Are certified instructors allowed to book a court to give lessons at Reno Convention Center?

    • Yes

  • How do I sign up for a private or a group lesson?
